
About Blockley
Blockley is about four miles from Moreton and three miles from Chipping Campden, The cottage is situated third from the end of a terrace of Cotswold stone houses built for the silk-workers in 1850 and lies on the edge of the village overlooking a peaceful valley.It is about five minutes walk from the post office/store and the Crown inn, which has good bar snacks and an excellent if slightly pricey brasserie. The Great Western Arms also has lunchtime and evening snacks.

- Sezincote House and Gardens and Batsford Arboretum are nearby; also do not miss market day in Moreton - every Tuesday.
- Excellent visits to Snowshill Manor and Hidcote Manor Gardens (National Trust) during the season, both very close.
